= Day 21

== Mission: "Negotiate with Arah'Halet", (primary)

• The *Khatri* siblings sneak ahead and spot a squad of six armed soldiers
• We approach them, trying to appear as non-threatening as possible
• Their leader appears to have a branding, reading *Rallim-o Nore*
• (Later we learn that his name is *Marash Allevovich*)
• *Dania* summons a fireball in our palm, demanding to speak to the manager
• We are lead further into the camp
• After a bit of chit-chat two more Branded arrive
• We are getting 'tested' for corruption
• *Marash* takes *Eagle* into a room and asks to hold his hands, palms up
• After a bit of esoteric mumbo-jumbo *Eagle* is declared clean
• *Aruns* WARD went off, but not in a way that's indicating corruption itself
• *Viceroy* is next and passes quickly
• *KitKat* is tested as well, but feels a surge of corruption in the process
• Our Unnamed Rookies are tested and passed as well; one of them also receives a healthy dose of corruption
• *Dania* is taken to *Arah'Halet* for a private audience
• After a somewhat heated discussion from Chosen-to-Chosen, *Arah'Halet* excuses himself, something urgent came up
• In the meantime, *Viceroy* trades his tent for a necklace
• *Eagle* explores the youth culture of the camp. New Chosen are mainly chosen from the leaders of teenager cliques
• Horseriding, archery, wrestling, singing-poetry-slam(?), corruption-spotting are among the challenges tonight
• *Indigo Waning Forest* shakes *Danias* hand and introduces himself as *Marashes* candidate
• Apparently one needs a sponsor to participate in the challenges
• *Indigo* walks *Dania* through town and chat a bit
• *Indigo* is being followed by 5-ish shady figures and *Dania* manages to knock one out quickly and screams for help
• Running further on, *Dania* incinerates another bad guy and witnesses that the bad guys are trying to dissolve *Indigo* with a shitload of corruption
• Quickly after, two town guards arrive
• *Dania* gives one town guard a WARD and strongly suggests the other one to wait outside at the window
• Meanwhile, *Viceroy* and *Eagle* are asked by other heavily armed town guards to accompany them, because 'one of your guys' attacked 'one of ours'. Order from *Anmar*, one of their Chosen. Yeah. Sure.
• *Marash* arrives at the crime scene and tests the surviving bad guys: heavily corrupted
• After some discussion, *Marash* tests *KitKat* again and detects mild corruption... Suspicious! :-O
• *Anmar* suggests that *Marash* arrested *KitKat*. O.o
• *Anmar* interrogates *Viceroy* first, quite intense... He detects some mild supernatural shenanigans. At least it feels significantly different than his first 'test'.
• *Eagle* pretends to need to pee, and gets escorted out
• He throws his weapon in one of the guard's face and tries to run away
• Shots are fired! *Eagle* gets hit but manages to escape. For now.
• With the help of the teenagers he befriended earlier, he manages to quickly track down *Marash*
• They make their way to *Azure Waxing Gale*, one of the Chosen to discuss
• *Marash* encourages to test *KitKat* again for corruption, she feels some weird shenanigans
• *Azure* faces *Marash* and pulls out a ceremonial knife, while *KitKats* muscles are tensing up, being controlled from the outside
• *KitKat* jumps up and tackles *Marash* out of harm's way
• She attacks *KitKat* instead now, paralyzing her and stabbing her throat, fatally
• *KitKat* utters under her last breath: "I'm corrupt, and so is she!"
• This second, *Eagle* and *Dania* burst into the room
• Immediately *Dania* incinerates *Azure*, barely managing to resist the urge for Moar Power
• *Viceroy* slowly realizes that he receives corruption from *Anmar*
• *Anmar* freezes for a second and seems disoriented
• *Viceroy* starts sprinting and GTFO
• He jumps out of the window and gets identified by a mob that's screaming that these foreigners are holding the Chosen hostage
• Luckily he manages to escape, but gets immediately stopped by *Erkany*
• *Erkany* takes *Viceroy* with him
• *Marash* tests *Azure* for corruption and detects some
• He takes her knife and stabs her in the hip, pulls out an artificial hip joint
• *Dania* pulverizes the joint and the WARD detects strong corruption
• *Eagle* jumps on *Azure*, trying to punch her in absolute rage
• *Dania* and *Marash* manage to hold him back
• *Arah'Halet* and *Erkany* arrive at the scene, *Viceroy* joins him and orders the other Rookies to guard the door
• *Arah'Halet* takes *Danias* hands. They both realize that the host of *Arah'Halet* has a pacemaker that is corrupted
• With scorching energy, they transfer *Arah'Halet* to *Marash*. The old body goes up in smoke and *Dania* collapses roasted almost well-done
• Apparently the implanted technologies manage to hide corruption from the usually-immune hosts
• *Anmar* is taken care of quickly, he's too far gone
• The newly bodied *Arah'Halet* discusses with *Viceroy* that he'll come to our camp to discuss how to proceed
• *Viceroy* stays back and helps sorting out the loose ends
