= Day 13

== Mission: "Block Mountain Road" (assault, primary)

  • We're coming in hot, our helicopter maneuver leads us straight to a mountain wall
  • We crash into the mountain! Luckily no injuries, but the chopper is damaged
  • The enemy forces surround us, battle drones zip around us
  • We fight our way out and can suppress the drones
  • Splitting up, one group to each side of the gorge
  • *Liavel Alekeivich* is suddenly in motion, sliding down a slope!
  • He can hold tight to the unstable ground, but a Rookie falls off the slope. He's tied to the rope party, but rocks have smashed his chest.
  • *Liavel* and the geologist survive, luckily
  • They continue climbing to the cliffs and set the explosives
  • *Chevalier Vexing Wind* leads his group to the overhang as well, setting charges
  • They haste back, but the enemy forces are already approach our position
  • *Sapphire*, in the meantime, tries to repair the chopper. Will it still fly...?
  • *Sapphire* fires a flare onto the approaching forces, they are distracted by the heat source and fire randomly
  • We all jump into the helicopter
  • *Liavel* and the *Chevalier* fire onto the enemy forces and throw themselves into the heli
  • Both make it, but the *Chevalier* has significantly more holes than yesterday

=== TL;DR heroic

  • *Liavel* aaaaalmost slid to death on the mountain slope
  • *Sapphire* jumps out of the chopper and ties it to the mountain
  • Perforated *Chevalier* held off the enemy forces and threw himself into the heli
  • *Sapphire* repaired the chopper, without knowing if it will work... Smashing success! :D
