== Mission: "Repulse Render's Forces" (favour, secondary)

• the artillery is distributed in three nests, a garden center, a hospital and a car park
• we attack the garden center first, from three sides
• *Tatinikayaevna* and her squad are pinnend by Render's troups and suffering losses
• *Sapphire* attacks Render's troups from behind to assist
• *Tatinikayaevna* throws explosives as a distraction and manages to extract most of our soldiers
• *Chevalier* builds some explosives from fertilizer
• He stays behind to fire distraction shells on the hostpital
• *Sapphire* also leads a distraction attack on one side of the hostpital
• *Tatinikayaevna* sneaks into the hospital and sets the charges
• Boom!
• We manage to wreck most of the enemy artillery
• Mopping up the rest is almost routine
• We make our way to the car park
• We set up a car with explosives, blocking the gas pedal as a distraction
• We run inside, guns blasting and throwing explosives, destroying most of the enemy gang
• *Tatinikayaevna* instructs our squad to set up boobie traps to contain the enemy
• In the meantime, *Sapphire* and *Chevalier* mow down the stragglers

• We decide to recrute deserters, much to the dismay of the Elossari

== Mission: "Handing over the Light", (secondary)

• Fog, fog everywhere
• Alexovich's health is declining, she keeps glowing and civilians in the vicinity start hearing voices
• A lone Elossari (deserter?) approached our camp and was slain before he reached us
• Two creatures fired on the guards, but escaped
• The next morning we venture on
• We pass a column of smoke next to our route
• It turns out to be the burning remains of an Elossari treck
• They died so quickly that about half of their weapons were never fired(!)
• In the middle of the night a barrage hits our camp
• Our ascentant spans his shield above us
• Chaos breaks out among the civilians, but we can keep order
• Among the hordes of approaching enemies and the fog, The Void appears. Crap!
• *Kita Khatri* tries to run towards his allies, but is taken down by The Void's darkness
• Also *Arun Khatri* is overwhelmed by The Void's powers
• *Dania Valentinichna* notices that The Void heads towards the medic tent
• She enters the tent, only mildly protected against the strong glow
• The voice that she hears in her head seems soothing
• Lured by the light, she touches Alexovich and absorbs the light
• Energy shoots into her and the light extinguishes
• The Void reaches out to her with tentacles, but she shoots focused lights out of her arm, cutting it cleanly
• The collective darkness is lifted and our squad can act again
• We manage to drive off The Void!
